The Springfield Youth Hockey Association (Illinois) will host the Sixth Annual Capital City Freeze Tournament on November 12-13, 2011 at the Nelson Center in Springfield, Illinois.

This year's tournament will consist of play at the following levels:

Squirt A
Peewee A Gold
Peewee A Bronze
Bantam AA

Tournament features include:

Four Game Guarantee
Skills Competition on Saturday
Each player will receive a ticket to the Springfield Jr. Blues game on Saturday night at the Nelson Center. The Jr. Blues are a Junior A team that plays in the North American Hockey League.
Team Trophies for 1st and 2nd Place plus Individual Awards for all players

Springfield is the home of Abraham Lincoln and there are many historic and educational sites, including the new Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. Most of these sites are within a few miles of the rink. There are also many other attractions and shopping areas.
